Liberation Memorial Bemmel
The Memorial has been set up in memory of the liberation of Bemmel on the 25th of September by the 5th Battalion of the East Yorkshire Regiment.
The Liberation Memorial consists of a men figure in Bronze, rising from the heaps of rubble of a destroyed place, that desperately calls: "why me".
