German Anti-tank Ditch Balloërveld

In Drenthe, the Germans constructed in 1944 and 1945 many kilometers of anti-tank ditches as part of the Frieslandriegel Defense Line. Most of these are gone, but in forests and heathlands sometimes still parts can be found.

From this location to the north, the anti-tank ditch is very visible for hundreds of meters.
