Memorial Wellington MF 397

The text on the plaque is:

During W.W.2 while on the returnflight to England, Wellington MF 397 was shot down close to this spot in the night of 7/8 april 1945. To keep those who died in our respectful commemoration.They died young for our freedom!

On behalf of her family and next of kin of other crew members, Vera Clarke and mr.Gerrit van 't Einde (in those days assisting to identify the victims) have unveiled this memorial on 10 November 2007.
