Memorial in memory of three casualties from the 6th Battalion King's Own Scottish Borderers
On 14 September 1944, the 6th Battalion of the King's Own Scottish Borderers made an attempt to crossing the Kempen Channel at Sas 7 on the border of Mol and Geel.
They were ambushed. Two soldiers were killed. The executive officer Major Rollo M.C. was severely wounded and died the next day from his injuries.
