Fort Bauda was built between 1935 and 1938 as part of the Czechoslovakian border defence line. The main task of this line was to protect the country against a German or Hungarian invasion.
The fort can be divided into the following infantry and artillery casemates:
K-S 21 "Kazi"
K-S 22 "Horymir"
K-S 22a "Krok"
K-S 23 "Teta"
K-S 24 "Libuse"
The fort today:
It is currently a military museum. Visitors can participate in guided tours given through the underground tunnel system.
