Benešova Line - Fort Adam

Fort Adam was built between 1935 and 1938 as part of the Czechoslovakian border defence line. The main task of this line was to protect the country against a German or Hungarian invasion.

The fort can be divided into the following infantry and artillery casemates:

K-S 39 "Hodek"
K-S 40 "U hajecku"
K-S 41 "Pod vrskem"
K-S 42 "Trigonometr"
K-S 43 "Veverka"
K-S 43a "Na sekyre"
K-S 44 "Za vetrem"
K-S 45 "Jaburek"

The fort today:
It is currently still in use by the Czech Armed Forces and is not accesible.
