Soviet & Polish War Graves

This plot contains the graves of 223 Soviet and Polish soldiers who fell in 1939 and 1945. A memorial containing the names of Polish officers from Ilza, who were executed by the NKVD in 1940, during the Katyn massacre, is also standing here.

The cemetery also contains the graves of 17 Poles who were killed by the German occupation force.
