Grave Major Eugene Kaszynski
Major Eugene Kaszynski was dropped above Poland during the Second World War. His mission was to aid the Polish resistance and commanded the "Ponury" partisan unit. His unit battled the German occupation force here in 1944.
His ashes are buried here according to his last will.
