Bell Seat - Liberation Memorial Roman Catholic Cemetery Gilze
This bell seat is located at Gilze Roman-Catholic cemetery. It commemorates the liberation of Gilze, on 27 October 1944.
The bell seat was build in 1994. The Angelus-bell (from 1651) in the bell seat is the original bell of the church of Gilze. The Germans took it away but because it was a monument they did not melt it. After the war the bell was found back.
