Commonwealth War Graves Dutch Reformed Cemetery Nieuwehorne

This Dutch Reformed Cemetery contains the graves of the 7-headed crew of the Lancaster bomber which crashed in the night from 13 to 14 September 1942, close to Nieuwehorne.

RAF Pilot Officer Edwin Frederick Dowdell, 103490, age 25
RAF Sergeant Percy Kenneth Jones, 651576, age 20
RAF Sergeant Reginald Laurence Moss, 1338674, age 20
RAF Flight Sergeant Robert Robertson, 652245, age 24
RAF Sergeant George Alec Walker, 1105111, age 22
RNZAF Pilot Officer Patrick Aylmer Vivian, 391872, age 21.
