Memorial 60th US Infantry Regiment (M4 Sherman Tank "Doly")

This memorial commemorates the soldiers of the 2nd and 3rd batallion of the 60th Infantry Regiment of the 9th Infantry Divion (1st US Army). They fought here for two days against the 2nd SS Armoured Division "Das Reich", from 5 September 1944 on.

The M4 Sherman tank "Doly" is standing next to the memorial.
