This former 'Marine Artillerie Waffenkommando' was built in 1942 by the Germans as Nebenstelle of the Marine headquarters in Den Haag. From here, the Germans coordinate the supply of stocks and maintenance of weapons of the German Navy in the sector Texel-Den Helder.
The German Officers' Lodge consisted of an administration building, residence and canteen. In 2009 it was destroyed by fire.
Today the complex has been restored and the Atlantikwall Center is located in it.
