Salpa Line - Fortifications Luumäki

Near the village of Luumaki, are a large number of WW2-era fortifications and restored trenches located. They are components of the Finnish Salpa line (1940-1944), which never saw action during the Second World War, because the Soviet offensive of 1944 was stopped at the VKT line.

The fortifications can be visited.
