Memorial Shot Train Wierden
On this location, on 25 December 1944, a train filled with forced labourers heading for Germany was shot by an Allied plane.
Four forced labourers were killed. Many others could escape and hide by people in the surrounding area. The memorial honours those who gave shelter and commemorates the victims.
