IJzertower - Museum at the IJzer

The IJzertower is the highest peace-memorial of Europe, with a height of 84 metres.

In the 22 floors of the tower is a museum with a permanent exposition about war (mostly the First World War), peace and the Flemish battle for independence. Since 1998 the museum is part of the peace museums network of the United Nations.

Besides the museum the tower is also worth visiting for the views from the panoramic floor or the view point from the roof.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
