Commonwealth War Graves St. Andrew Churchyard

St. Andrew Churchyard contains one Commonwealth war grave from the First World War and one from the Second World War.

Before the First World War, it concerns the grave of J.Brennan belonging to the King's Liverpool Regiment, who died on January 29, 1918 at the age of 42.

In addition to the war grave, Hartley Shawcross is also buried here.
Hartley William Shawcross, Baron Shawcross, GBE, PC, QC (1902 – 2003), known from 1945 to 1959 as Sir Hartley Shawcross, was an English lawyer and Labor politician who served as the chief British prosecutor at the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal.
He also served as Britain's chief delegate to the United Nations immediately after the Second World War and as Attorney General for England and Wales.
He died at home in Cowbeech, East Sussex, on July 10, 2003, aged 101.
