Commonwealth War Cemetery Townsville
During the Second World War Townsville was a Royal Australian Air Force base and a port of embarkation for troops to New Guinea and the islands.
There were many camps and a hospital in the area.
Townsville War Cemetery contains 222 graves from the Second World War.
