On this location, 10 men were shot on 29 March 1945 as a reprisal measurement. There names were: Hendrik Jordens, Hattias Boers, Berend Dijkman, Lulof de Wilde, Pieter Wolfert, Herman Kampman, Johannes Verdriet, Jan Seckel, Wietse Douwsma and Free Roskam.

At the Rijssensestraat, another 10 men were shot.
