Memorial Heroes "Shironintsev" Platoon
This memorial commemorates the 25 soldiers of the "Shironintsev" Platoon, which inflicted heavy losses on the German army in March 1943. All 25 (of whom 19 posthumously) were awarded the Gold Star medal on 18 May 1943.
