Mound of Glory Minsk

This memorial is dedicated to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Belarussian Front and the 1st Baltic Front, which liberated Belarus during Operation Bagration (1944). It consists of a 35 meters high moundl with on top four stylized bayonets, representing the four Fronts. In total ,178,507 soldiers and officers of the Red Army lost their lives during this operation.

The memorial is not suited for any disabled person to ascend. Also there is no handrail to hold on to as you climb up and down. Be warned that the winds can be very powerful there. Be very careful if you decide to climb to the top .

An open-air display consisting of Sovie-era weaponry is situated at the parking lot.
