Ryozen Gokoku War Shrine

The Ryozen Gokoku war shrine in Kyoto commemorates 2 milion kami (ghosts/spirits) from Japanese soldiers and civilians who fell during the Second World War. There are also some war memorials located at the shrine dedicated to the Kamikaze pilots, 5th Engineer Division, 120th Infantry Division, 23rd Field Protection Department, 109th Infantry Division and the 128th Infantry Division.
