Alddreu Airfield

This former Japanse airfield was built from 1926 to 1930. It was used to train Kamikaze pilots during the Second World War. At the end of the war, it housed 2500 troops and 25 battle-ready fighter planes. There are still several Japanse shelters for these fighters planes in the area.
