This memorial, within the Burgate Church, commemorates the members of the parish who were killed or missing in the First and Second World War (2 names). Those who returned are also mentioned.
The articles in and around the alcove are pieces of 'trench-art' made by the men in the field hospital and brought back from Flanders by the rector who served as chaplain in the hospital. His own tin hat is on the right-hand-side of the display.
