The Asan memorial is located on top of the Nimitz Hill, previously known as Fonte plateau, above Asan beach. There are three large bas reliefs, telling the history of Guam during World War Two and a memorial with the names of the U.S. soldiers, marines and air service men who fell between 21 July 1944 and 10 August 1944 on Guam.
