Peleliu War Museum

This museum is established in a former Japanese storage bunker which was used during the Battle of Peleliu (15.9.1944 - 27.11.1944) as command post. The bunker is heavily damaged from the outside by artillery shells fired from the sea. The collection consists of many relics found on the battlefield, such as helmets, weapons and personal belongings.
