This memorial, within the St. Lawrence Church, commemorates the members of the parish who were killed or missing in the First World War.
Separate plaques are dedicated to:
- Maj. Gen. Richard Hardinge who served his country in the Coalition Wars (1792-1815).
- Captain William Critchell R.N. (died in 1873) who fought in the Coalition Wars, and his son Lieutenant Archer Croft Critchell (died in 1857) who fought in the Crimean War.
