Text:
In Memoriam 1914-1918
Sixty two trees
were on 24th Nov 1929
dedicated in these grounds
to the memory of those
villagers who gave their
lives in the Great War
"They died that
we might live"
Greater love hath
No man than this
That a man lay down
His life for his friends
There is also a plaque which commemorates the centenary of the Great War.
