This memorial commemorates the Australian contribution during the Korean war and at the Battle of Kapyon (24-25 April 1951), when the Australian 3rd Infantry Division had a fierce battle with the Chinese Army.

Text on the memorial:
This monument was erected on the former fierce battle field to keep the sublime sacrificial spirit of the Australian forces who significantly devoted to the world's peacekeeping and international freedom during the Korean War.
