Manangatang Memorial Park (War Memorial Manangatang)

This memorial commemorates the residents of Manangatang who served their country in the First World War and the Second World War and the wars in Korea and Vietnam.

The pine tree has grown from seeds of the Lone Pine Tree, which became a symbol of the battle in Gallipoli and especially the Battle of Lone Pine, in the First World War.
