- The citizens of Montana who were killed or missing in the Korean War (1950-1953).
- The citizens of Montana who served their countries in the Vietnam War.
- Captain John H. Goyle, who rescued over 100 people from the Channel on April 28, 1944, when the troops were attacked by the Germans during Exercise Tiger.
