Memorial Massacre My Trach

This memorial in Lệ Thủy commemorates the massacre on the civilians of My Trach (Mỹ Trạch), by French troops on 29 November 1947. Of the village, 326 houses were burnt down and over 300 civilians, almost all women and children, were lined up at the railway bridge and killed with machine gun fire.
