Command Bunker General Christian de Castries

This is the command bunker of the commander of the French forces in Dien Bien Phu, General Christian de Castries. With the seizing of the bunker by the Viet Minh ended the Battle of Dien Bien Phu (Điện Biên Phủ), on 7 May 1954.
The bunker still is in original condition. Nowadays a roof is build wide above the bunker for protection.
