This museum in Hồ Chí Minh, formally named the "Southeastern Armed Forces Museum Military Zone 7" is dedicated to all Vietnamese resistance to foreign occupation from the Chinese occupation, the First Indochina War and the Vietnam War and the Cambodian–Vietnamese War.
From 1965 to 1973, the building was used by the U.S. Army's 3rd Field Hospital.
