This memorial commemorates the servicemen who returned from the Second World War.

YARROWAYAH MEMORIAL
WORLD WAR II RETURNED SERVICEMEN

THIS MONUMENT WAS ERECTED TO
COMMEMORATE THE SOLDIER SETTLERS, THEIR WIVES AND FAMILIES
WHO STAYED TO RECEIVE THEIR PURCHASE LEASES
AND PIONEERED THE NEW IRRIGATION SETTLEMENT
WHICH COMMENCED IN YARROWAYAH IN 1947.
