This memorial on the CISM Field on the Naval Amphibious Base Coronado commemorates the 2,564 river boat Sailors and Coastguardsmen who were killed in the Vietnam War from 1960 to 1975. At the memorial are three different patrol crafts and costal patrol boats on display, of the types used by the Navy to patrol the rivers and waterways of Vietnam throughout the duration of the war.
