Memorial Lancaster JB733 PM-K 103 Sqn

This Lancaster bomber was shot don on this location by a German nightfighter, in the night from 11 to 12 May 1944. It was on its way from Elsham Wolds to Hasselt.

Alle crewmembers were killed in the crash. Their bodies were brought to Fort 3 in Borsbeek and later on to Schoonselhof Cemetery in Antwerp.

F/Sgt Ronald Bennett Webb - Air Bomber - 27 years
Sgt Keith Lund Ramage - Flight Engineer - 19 years

Sgt Kenneth Mark Martin - Air Gunner - 19 years
Sgt John William Smith - Air Gunner - 28 years
