LTV-4 'Water Buffalo' or 'Alligator'
This American LTV-4 'Water Buffalo' or 'Alligator' is situated near the flyover in Kotem, hamlet of Boorsem. The LTV-4 is an assault amphibian and this one sunk during a British exercise on 5 March 1945 in preparation of the Rhinecrossing.
This assault amphibian was recovered in 1977 (last two pictures).
