Commonwealth War Graves Brookside Cemetery

Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg contains 149 Commonwealth war graves from the Second and 299 from the First World War.

Air force and army training camps were established in the area during the Second World War, with No 103 Canadian Army Basic Training Centre at Fort Garry.

Canadian cemeteries contains often also graves of war veterans. These graves have the same headstones as the war graves, but then only with a cross and not with a symbol of an army-unit.
