This monument, in the National Remembrance Park Roermond, is erected in memory of the Dutch soldiers who have died since the beginning of the Korean War in the service of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as a result of peacekeeping operations.

In this text are mentioned the names of the victims who fought for the Netherlands and who gave their lives in the War in Afghanistan and/or Operation Enduring Freedom and who have no grave because they were cremated:
