from this house, Pfc. Mason ARMSTRONG
bazooka man of F Co. 119th Regiment
30th U.S. INFANTRY DIVISION
knocked out two German half-tacks
of the SS Kampfgruppe Peiper
and so stopped the forward spearhead
of Hitler's great attack on Antwerp


For this heroic action, he was awarded
the D.S.C.
