Halifax monument for the crashed bomber with identification NR118 WL-U (434 Sqn RAF). This monument is in the fields on the way to the Dailly village.
Except for P/O Brown H. (RCAF), none of the crew survived the crash which took place on December 18, 1944. They are buried on the Leopoldsburg cemetery and are: Pilot F/Lt Parrott J (RCAF,) Navigator F/O Pearce S (RCAF,) Mechanic P/O Janzen L (RCAF,) Bomber P/O Kurtzhals A. (RCAF,) Gunner F/Sgt Divitcoff A (RCAF) and Radio operator and Gunner Olafsen G. (RCAF).
