Labuan Cremation Memorial

Labuan is a small island off the coast of Borneo. Labuan War Cemetery contains the Labuan Cremation Memorial. It commemorates 34 soldiers of the Indian Army who were killed during the Second World War and were cremated.

Most graves are of POW's who died in Japanese camps. Other soldiers fell in fights during the Japanese attack or the fights in 1945.
