On the stone a text in French can be translated as follows:
CI GII
The courageous son of the Union of Socialistic Soviet Republics
the Russian KOULIKOV IVAN born in Kouybechev in 1924 was sadly killed on 9 December 1943 during the carrying out of a mission of partisans.
Erected by the residents

On the ground there is a flat glass plate with a Russian text. Of this text in the course of time a few letters have become difficult to be distinguished.
What is clearly readable are his name, date of birth and the date he died.
