Auckland War Memorial Museum

Auckland War Memorial Museum, part of the Auckland Museum, is both a museum and a site of commemoration for New Zealanders lost at war. The Museum houses two halls of memory within which the names of all those killed in major conflicts of the 20th Century are recorded and remembered.

The exhibitions tell about the First and the Second World war, as well as Korea, the Malaya-Borneo conflict and Vietnam. There is also an exhibition about the Holocaust.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
