Memorial Kunduz

This memorial, in the Wald der Erinnerung (Remembrance Forest) on the terrain of the Henning-von-Tresckow-Kaserne in Geltow, commemorates the 20 German soldiers who were killed in Kunduz (Afghanistan).

The Remembrance Forest contains memorials which were transferred from the countries where they once were built. There are also many private-memorials and a remembrance hall.
