Memorial Park Popina

This park, situated on the road to Popina just southwest of Kraljevo, commemorates the very first full frontal confrontation between Partisans and occupying German Wehrmacht forces, on 13 October 1941. The partisans lost this battle and over 40 partisan soldiers were killed.
