Memorial Refugees from Kosovo
During the Kosovo War, many Albanian people fled from Kosovo. Of them, about 450,000 stayed in the small town of Kukës, which led, in 2000, to the nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize for Kukës, first time ever that a town was nominated for such a prize.
