The Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Statehood and Independence

This museum is dedicated to the struggle throughout the years for an independent and democratic Macedonia. The historical exhibits display the revolutionary struggle for the liberation of Macedonia in World War II, the unification and the creation of an independent Macedonian state. Also, the museum displays reveal the struggling agony the Macedonian people experienced, their resistance against the communist dictatorship, sacrificing their lives for a democratic Macedonia.
