War Memorial Stourport-on-Severn

This memorial commemorates the residents of Stourport-on-Severn who were killed or missing in the First World War (113 names) and the Second World War (34 names) and the Falklands War (1 name).

This bench in the Stourport War Memorial Gardens is in memory of Darryl Cope, of Stourport-on-Severn. He was a catering assistant on H.M.S. Sheffield, when it was sunk by an Exocet missile fired from an Argentine fighter bomber in the Falklands War of 1982
