Prisoner-of-War Camp Tulelake

This camp was uriginally built for the Civilian Conservation Corps, during the Depression. In the Second World War it became an internment-camp for Japanese Americans. In 1944 it became a POW-camp for German and Italian soldiers. Not to be confused with the Tule Lake Relocation Center nearby.
